ADDENDUM 1 TO ITB 15-01 – Fire Alarm Testing, Inspection and Repair
This addendum is issued as a part of the aforementioned ITB. The changes incorporated herein are an
amendment to and supersede those conditions shown in the original solicitation. The Proposer shall
acknowledge receipt of this addendum by signing this form and returning with their submittal. Failure to do so
may subject Proposer to disqualification.
Q1. On Page 35 of 46, in Attachment H – Pricing Schedule, Item number 1, the document lists 13,500 Total
Estimated Sites. One would assume that that count does not represent actual sites, but rather the total
number of fire alarm devices. Please verify if my assumptions are correct or not.
A1. Yes, your assumptions are correct. Replace the word Sites (for Item 1) with Devices.
Q2. Assuming that the above referenced quantity does indeed represent device count, is there any listing of
device types? What I am asking is, how many smoke detectors, Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACPs), strobes,
etc.?
A2. We do not have a breakdown of the 13,500 devices.
