ADDENDUM 2 TO ITB 13-05E, CABLING LABOR AND MATERIALS
This addendum is issued as a part of the aforementioned ITB. The changes incorporated herein are
an amendment to and supersede those conditions shown in the original solicitation. The Bidder shall
acknowledge receipt of this addendum by signing this form and returning with their submittal. Failure
to do so may subject Bidder to disqualification.
The list of questions presented below is a culmination of questions from prospective Bidders.
Each question to follow has been answered as completely and accurately as possible.
Q1. Are we required to use Davis-Bacon Act wages for any E-Rate funded projects over $2,000.00 for
the contract? If so, please indicate what category labor rate we should use and how do we present this
on your bid tabulations?
Answer: No
Q2. Does the lowest total net bid price of bid include all material items, plus single per-hour labor
charge?
Answer: The per hour labor rate and the material cost will be evaluated to determine the overall
low bidder.
Q3. What is the anticipated dollar amount budgeted for the first year?
Answer: Budgets are contingent upon erate funds availability. We cannot predict what may or may
not become available from this Federal Program as it varies each year. In prior years, we have had
annual awards for this contract type in excess of $4 million and then some years we have received
no awards at all.
Q4. Where do we put labor pricing for RCDD work per hour rate?
