Applying DOK in Your Classroom
1. Briefly describe a lesson that you have used (or plan to use) in your classroom.
2. What assessment or evaluation does the lesson use to measure student performance
and/or knowledge?
3. Identify the DOK complexity used by the lesson and assessment(s) that you described
above, explaining how the activities meet the definition of the DOK type(s) named.
4. Consider how you might incorporate an additional DOK type into the lesson/activity
described earlier, explaining how a new or alternate evaluation would be more or less
complex.
