WHEREAS: Ashley Brickley, Student Disabilities Services Coordinator of the University of
Northern Iowa, is stepping down from her position; and
RECOGNIZING: That she has done excellent work with Northern Iowa Student Government’s
Lower Cabinet Director of Disability Services; and
RECOGNIZING: That she was a leader in National-Coalition Building Institute; and
RECOGNIZING: That she worked in the Disability Advisory and Advocacy Committee; and
FURTHER RECOGNIZING: That Ashley Brickley has displayed her commitment to UNI by
working to establish strong communication for students with disabilities; and
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED: That the Northern Iowa Student Government offers its
thanks to Ashley Brickley for her outstanding service to the student community; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That this resolution shall be sent to Ashley Brickley; President
Ruud; Jim Wohlpart, Executive Vice President and Provost; Jan Hanish, Interim Vice President
Student Affairs; the Northern Iowan and any other media outlet or person deemed relevant by the
Speaker of the Senate.
