Aftermarket Vibration Monitoring System (AVMS) For Industrial Gas Turbines up to 15 MW Answers for Energy Siemens Energy is a world leader in industrial gas turbines for power generation and mechanical drive applications. As part of the comprehensive portfolio of customer services activities, Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery Ltd can offer a Vibration Monitoring System for our fleet of small gas turbines. Maintaining Customer Operations The Aftermarket Vibration Monitoring System has been designed to fulfil the need for a cost effective monitoring system to replace existing units. The AVMS is built around a series of specially configured vibration monitoring systems. The proven technology in a compact, cost effective unit enables these vibration monitoring systems to be utilized for both aftermarket and new product lines. The AVMS is based on the ENTEK XM Series of vibration monitoring modules. These XM units are capable of monitoring signals from a wide variety of sensors. The XM modules are of a compact size and fit directly to a 35mm terminal rail, which makes the system capable of replacing most other systems without the need for additional cabinet space. Options Additional master and slave relay units - A maximum of twelve additional relays can be catered for in the AVMS. This allows for replacement of hard wired shutdown systems. Optional connection to a PLC controller - As an alternative to the analogue outputs, the AVMS may be connected to a PLC by a DeviceNet™ fieldbus communication link. Replacement probes. Obsolescence Health & Safety Customer Benefits Compact modules - These units are capable of replacing most other systems with out the requirement for additional cabinet space. Pre-installed software configuration - Software is pre-installed which means that the customer is only required to connect the input and analogue outputs in order to use the AVMS. Cost Reduction Benefit by Mods & Ups Reliability Performance Environment Digital signal sensing and processing - This gives a product which is both reliable and predictable. www.siemens.com/energy Published by and copyright © 2013: Siemens AG Energy Sector Freyeslebenstrasse 1 91058 Erlangen, Germany Siemens Energy, Inc. 4400 Alafaya Trail Orlando, FL 32826-2399, USA For more information, please contact our Customer Support Center.
