Position Overview:
Informa Business Intelligence currently has an exciting opportunity in our Boston or New York Office for a talented
Marketing Communications Manager looking to join our Telecom, Media & Technology marketing team. We are an
expanding global business, offering an excellent opportunity for a career-driven marketer looking to take the next step
and progress in a fast paced digital subscription business.
Reporting into the Head of Marketing, the Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for turning the
marketing strategy into effective, customer-facing tactics that drive customer behavior and business results. This role will
lead an internal marketing communications team and external agencies to create, implement and analyze the relevant
marketing channels that best engage customers and achieve the desired outcomes for the best possible cost.




The ideal candidate will possess the following:








Proven track record to creating and delivering customer focused strategic marketing communications strategy
High level of experience in marketing communications with demonstrated success, preferably in the B2B sector
Commitment to putting the customer at the heart of all development and implementation activities
Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing communications
activities
Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills
Experience developing and managing budgets, and hiring, training, developing, supervising and appraising
personnel
Able to formulate and achieve challenging strategic objectives, based on clear understanding of market trends,
customer needs and business imperatives
Experience managing external agencies the design including creative and digital
Qualifications:




7+ years Marketing
Bachelor’s level education or equivalent (marketing, communications or business qualification desirable
Strong Internal Leadership; Develop, motivate and inspire your team.
Analytic and Process driven: Extensive experience with rigorous tracking, ROI, spend and measurement





Successful Marketing Automation execution using Eloqua or similar platform
Experience across all communications channels, highly strategic: Social, paid targeting, native advertising, SEOWEB, Google
Event marketing planning and management
Proven track record of successfully executed content marketing strategy
Experience in PR relationship building
