Hybrid Course - course in which some traditional face-to-face
"seat time" has been replaced by online learning activities.

Requirements:

Students must enroll in Advanced Studies (cost: $213)
Must meet with me once a week during study hall, lunch, or
after school



Assignments could be completed at school, home, library, etc.

Read Word Chapter 2 in your textbook. It is strongly advised that you complete all
“Step-by-Step” exercises in this Chapter. The “Step-by-Step” exercises are identified
by the Numbered Red Dots . The time required to do this will vary based on your
computer skills.
Review the Word Chapter 2 Course Lecture in Word 2010 in Angel, Lessons. This
PowerPoint lecture summarizes the textbook chapter.



129 – WD 130. (20 points)
Go to Angel, Lessons, Drop Boxes.
Select A4.
Enter A4 in Title.
Select Attachments and submit the Make It Right 2-1 Biometrics paper Modified file.
Also, we will be creating a resume and cover letter in the next unit. Discussion
Forum #2 involves posting a link to a reliable source regarding cover letter and/or a
resume building. Do not use the same source as another student. Post your
link and write a summary about your article (6 sentences minimum). (20 points)
You may want to begin compiling all of the information necessary for a resume,
such as work experience, computer experience, awards, community service, etc.
You will need this information for next week.
