An Introduction to Statistical Methods and Data Analysis. 6th edition Software: (optional): Minitab 16 The stated elements of the course include a review of hypothesis testing, goodness-of-fit tests, regression, correlation analysis, completely randomized designs, randomized complete block designs, and Latin squares. This is an applied course, where students will learn basic statistical tools and how to apply them. Successful mastery of the course material will be the appropriate application of statistical techniques to statistical problems. This course will focus on three main areas of statistics, ANOVA, Regression and Categorical data analysis. Stat 200, or an equivalent course is a prerequisite for this course. Students needing review of this material are advised to consult the introductory chapters of the textbook, or consult a tutor.
