Be respectful; follow directions, help others, listen, and have pride in yourself and your school. Failure to submit work will result in mandatory tutorials, so don’t procrastinate. Assignments TESTS – these are standard and will be given at the end of each major unit NOTES – Notes will be kept in unit packets. Notes missed must be made up. LABS – missed labs must be made up before or after school, they are not waived. UNIT PACKETS – You will have a folder or binder which will generally be kept in the classroom. You will be expected to keep notes, lab results, practice problems, formula sheets, etc. This will make up the majority of minor grades for the class. QUIZZES – Will cover the concepts of that week. Minor grade. Grading Each nine week grading period: 65% Tests, Major Labs and projects 35% Unit Packets, classwork, quizzes Make-up Work Students are responsible for making-up all missed work including missed quizzes, labs and/or tests.
