The Task
Competitive pressure is high in the power plant
industry – and advantages can often only be
achieved by means of sustained and scheduled
cost savings. Continuous optimization of operation and plant maintenance is necessary for this
purpose. In many cases power plant operators
rely on their own personnel for this process.
Continuous and costly training is required in
this case. The situation can clearly be improved
through closer cooperation between power
generators and system manufacturers, through
optimum utilization of the competence of both
parties.
A central contact partner is available for all I&C
services.
Power plant operators can access the Siemens
Remote Expert Center for I&C around the clock
and obtain immediate support from experts.
Competent service engineers with knowledge
of the specific plant are on call for on-site
assignments.
Defined on-site services are provided in accordance with individual agreements. The agreement also includes a fast spare parts and repair
service at flat rates and an update service for
the DCS.
