For January business, two new FTE members were created in the “Balance” dimension of UMHSCons.
For quarterly FTEs there is a new Balance member called QTRFTE (quarterly).
For YTD FTEs there is a new Balance member called YTDFTE (year-to-date).
The results by using the existing YTD and QTD members will give you an average of the FTE’s however the new YTDFTE and QTRFTE member calculation is based on
Hours and Days.
Example in a Smart View:

For users who have been upgraded to Windows 7, you will need to reconfigure your
Smart View connections. Instructions are located on the Financial System website.
If you run into any issues with Smart View once you have been upgraded to Windows

To assist users who may be new or just need a refresher on the Hyperion Planning Application,
Michigan House Finance has created three short on-Demand training videos that provide tips and tricks on the basic functionality of the Hyperion Planning system. The videos provide instructions on how to navigate some of the supplemental materials on the Financial Systems website, as well as how to access the Hyperion Planning forms through both Smart View and Workspace.

) before the Hyperion
Planning application opens on Tuesday (2/11/14) for FTE and Non-Cohort Stat input.
The file provides a breakdown of Actual FTE’s by earnings category (Regular, OT, Temp, Other), as well as by employee. It contains actual FTE information by month for all of FY13 as well as Q1 and Q2 of
FY14. This data will be useful in trending your FTE forecasts as you prepare to enter in your FTE detail from Feb 11 th – 14 th .
