A FY15 Budget Report has been created and may be accessed in Financial Management
Workspace (Hyperion). To obtain the report sign on to Hyperion Workspace and select
“Explore” (left click)
Go to UMHS Financial Reports and select Management Reports (UMHSCons). Then select the
Twelve Month Budget Income Statement Summary (double left click)
Select your Fund & Department & click “OK”

The Trend Report for 12 months by Forecast Level Entry Group will return.

UMHS Finance is in the preliminary stages of starting the FY16 Budgeting process in the UMHS application. The UMHS application is where the quarterly Budget and Cohort data is entered during the Budgeting Process. To facilitate changes that must be made to the UMHS application all access will be removed on Friday, October 10th.
To meet current reporting requirement s a replica of the application has been created and is named UMHSFY15. You currently and will continue to have access to the UMHSFY15 application for reporting purposes .
This does not impact UMHSCons – Trial Bal, where actuals are maintained and where you can also get monthly Budgeted financials.

In following with the strategy of matching reporting requirements with the most efficient tool, the primary source of project grant reporting will be Finance BI (Oracle OBIEE) going forward.
In order to provide a smooth transition to the new system we are creating an application in
Hyperion Essbase that will contain the Project Grant information. This will allow users to continue to run Smart View reports they have created and utilize the standard reports on
Workspace.


Data will be loaded at the same frequency as UMHSCons

The dimensions Project Grant, Program Code, and Class will be included

