About Us:
HIET has established Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) in year 2013
under the sponsorship of National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board,
Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India, New Delhi.The primary objective to setup
the IEDC is to create an environment of Innovation and
Comp.

Entrepreneurial Culture not only in the institute but also in
the
IT
AS
region. To promote Entrepreneurship among the S&T
group HIET-IEDC is organizes various activities like EAC,
AEI
ME
EDP, TEDP, FDP etc. keeping the entire target group in
IEDC
mind.

development IEDC provides financial support to FIVE
innovative projects each year.

departments to nurture Innovation and carries Research &Development activities.

Provide various services for enterprise building to budding S & T entrepreneurs.
Create Entrepreneurial culture in the HIET and other institutes in the region
Inculcate a culture of innovation driven entrepreneurship through student projects.
Promote knowledge-based enterprises and promote employment opportunities in the
innovative areas.
Help the SMEs to respond effectively to the emerging challenges and opportunities.
