Project Supplement Guidelines
In this section, the organizers mainly wish to see applicants demonstrate insightful thinking
ability. Applicants will be given free rein to explore and define their own project scopes, but
their projects must be presented via one of these three options: video, essay, or other media (see
bottom of page for further information). In addition, project scopes should be aligned with this
year’s forum theme of ‘Entrepreneurship, a driver for technology and innovation’ or one of the
following sub-themes:




Preparing the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs
From Innovation to Business Success
Best Cities for Entrepreneurship
Empowering Entrepreneurs at the Base of the Pyramid
Submissions will be judged based on the quality of insight, creativity, effort, and
professionalism.
Completed projects should be saved as a separate file, but submitted together with the
application forms PDF in one .ZIP folder.

Project Options (Choose only one):
1. Video (Time limit: 2 minutes)
For group applications, only 1 video is required per team.
2. Essay (Word limit: 800 words)
For group applications, each member is required to submit an essay.
3. Other media (Limited to paintings, sculptures, graphic design, and blogs)
For group applications, only 1 submission is required per team.
Take note: If the project is originally created in hard copy format, submit only up to five high-resolution
photographs of your project, along with a short write-up explaining how it links to the theme and sub-theme
chosen.
