Help ESL students overcome challenges unique to them in writing and expressing themselves by listening carefully to them and coaching them in their writing process. Help ESL students improve their command of English by acting as their mentor and monitoring their learning process through follow-up sessions. Conduct class visits and develop class presentations that used communicative methods to teach writing and research writing skills for different lower and upper division university courses. Hold one-on writing consultation sessions with students whose abilities ranged from special needs to undergraduate seniors, providing constructive feedback on their writing and research related concerns. Perform administrative duties, supervise as many as five employees (student workers) on the evening shifts, and evaluate the professional conduct of student workers.
