The Business Designer plays an important role in framing the agency’s needs in terms of its major business capabilities, processes, governance structures and business information. This role identifies business needs through framing problems and supports the development of solution options. The Business Designer is required to be involved in designing change relating to new business initiatives and business improvement of existing processes. The role is also involved in supporting the design of end to end solutions as part of the Innovation Hub. This role is required to travel between AUSTRAC work sites in Canberra, Sydney and Melbourne as specified by operational requirements. The Business Designer reports to the Business Designer & Process Improvement (EL1) as well as fits within the Innovation Hub in order to support specific business analysis needs, stakeholder engagements and supporting various programs in the agency. In addition, the Business Designer will also develop relationships and work closely with any Senior Responsible Officers.
