Senior Analyst – Marketing Analytics & Campaign Management Role Title:

Position Statement (succinct statement of why the position exists)
Reporting to the Business Intelligence Manager, this role provides standard and ad hoc data analysis support for activities such as marketing campaigns, communications and research required to deliver on the Fund’s business strategy, supports the management of strategic Fund data and delivers regular tracking and monitoring of business performance.
Key Duties (what is done, how it is achieved and what the end result is)
Marketing analytics
Operates marketing analytics tools for the Fund and works collaboratively with other Departmental users, primarily supporting marketing, communications and research activities.
Identification of 3 rd party data and liaising with external service providers to integrate into marketing analytics tool
Primary user and tester for marketing analytics tool
Data analysis and marketing campaign management support
Undertakes data analysis to support marketing campaigns, communications and research activities.
Collaborates with marketing and customer support groups to analyse member data and identify those who are eligible for specific campaigns
Liaises with marketing agencies to collaboratively develop data driven strategies
Development of specific segments and execution of campaigns (i.e. marketing list generation) using
AustralianSuper ’s Marketing Analytics platform
Supports the reporting and analysis of campaign effectiveness (post campaign reporting)
Provides the Fund and Groups with standard and ad hoc reports based on deep business analysis, in keeping with the agreed enterprise data governance framework
Business performance reporting (marketing focus)
Assists the Marketing and Engagement groups to develop appropriate reports, score cards and dashboards
Monitors and reports on marketing performance against agreed business performance indicators
Business partnering
Acts as an internal consultant to Marketing to provide strategic analysis and the generation of recommendations and insights
Understands Marketing’s information needs, business objectives and market sectors and helps determine appropriate data analysis strategies
Train and upskill users in the use of marketing analytics and Tableau reporting tools
Gather and synthesize business requirements for the build of reports and analytical models
Provides suitable updates to internal Groups on the status of ongoing work

Qualifications (indicate whether mandatory or desired)
Mandatory
A tertiary qualification, preferably in information technology, marketing, commerce, or finance.
Technical skills in the use of marketing analytics software (e.g. Unica, Aprimo, Alterian, Siebel Campaign)
Highly Desired
Technical skills in the use of business intelligence packages (e.g. SQL Server, SAS, SPSS, Oracle), and data mining tools
A minimum of 3-5 years experience in marketing and campaign analytics, including exposure to marketing automation
Several years’ experience desirable in financial services, and/or superannuation, Telcos, FMCG
