Position Description Part A - Role Specification Role Title: Senior Analyst – Marketing Analytics & Campaign Management Department: Strategy, People and Performance Position Statement (succinct statement of why the position exists) Reporting to the Business Intelligence Manager, this role provides standard and ad hoc data analysis and modelling support for activities such as marketing campaigns, communications and research required to deliver on the Fund’s business strategy, supports the management of strategic Fund data and delivers regular tracking and monitoring of business performance. Key Duties (what is done, how it is achieved and what the end result is) Data management Operates Analytics and Business Intelligence tools for the Fund and works collaboratively with other Departmental users, primarily supporting marketing, communications and research activities. Management of 3rd party data, including data integration, reporting & analysis and liaising with service providers Maintains or updates other databases, systems, or methods Data analysis and marketing campaign management support Undertakes deep data analysis, modeling and synthesis for to support marketing campaigns, communications and research activities. Collaborates with marketing and customer support groups to analyse member data and identify those who are eligible for specific campaigns Support marketing’s customer segmentation program by performing in-depth data analysis to identify, flag and maintain strategic customer segments. Assisting in the development and setup of specific segment campaigns in AustralianSuper’s Marketing Analytics platform. Provides the Fund and Groups with standard and ad hoc reports based on deep business analysis, in keeping with the agreed enterprise data governance framework Internal client service delivery Acts as an internal consultant to Groups to provide strategic analysis and the generation of recommendations and insights Understands the Groups’ information needs, business objectives and market sectors and helps determine appropriate data analysis strategies Provides suitable updates to internal Groups on the status of ongoing work Coaching and training other users to ensure the Fund is able to use and optimise reporting tools Manages a timely flow of business intelligence information to the Fund Business performance reporting (marketing focus) Assists the Fund and Groups to develop appropriate reports, score cards and dashboards Helps build a suite of standard performance reports for use across AustralianSuper Monitors and reports the Fund’s performance against agreed business performance indicators Produces business performance reports as required by the Board and Executives 1 Quantitative Data (e.g. Number of Staff) Staff (direct reports): N/A Budget: N/A Part B - Person Specification Qualifications (indicate whether mandatory or desired) Mandatory A tertiary qualification, preferably in information technology, marketing, commerce, or finance.
