Student absences will be excused at the discretion of the instructor in the cases of extreme circumstances. All students are required to be in class and prepared on time. It is your responsibility to contact the instructor in the event of an absence. If you do not contact the instructor, an absence will automatically be counted as unexcused. Quizzes in both lecture and lab may be administered to insure prompt attendance. Quizzes cannot be made up and are given at the beginning of the lecture/lab session. No exceptions. Homework will be due the following class period that it was assigned, whether you were present in class or not. There will be no make-up tests, quizzes or labs. If a student must be absent from a class for an emergency situation, it is their responsibility to contact me or another student to find out what they have missed. You need to email me no later than the day of the class that you were absent for to receive the subject material covered and/or assignments.
