RATIONALE It is imperative for every school to have educators who are prepared to assess special needs and plan intervention for students who have learning difficulties and other related problems. METHODS OF EVALUATION OF LEARNING Each teacher candidate will [See Modules in Blackboard for instructions] read text chapters and complete text discussions in Discussion Board. complete in-class essay on assessment. present oral report on educational assessment instrument. submit written evaluation of two assessment instruments. practice peer administration of a variety of assessment instruments. administer assessment instruments and submit client report for K-12 student. interpret sample school report and describe intervention plan based on assessment to enhance student learning. respond to online course survey and reflection GRADING POLICIES Late penalty of 10% will be deducted for assignments submitted after the due date indicated on the course chart. All assignments must be submitted by the course deadline.
