Latin II Second Quarter Project: Mythology Most of these myths are Greek in origin. The Romans preserved them. Alone or with a partner, choose a Greek myth below. 1. Tell the story to the class without notes of any kind. Try to make it interesting. 2. Illustrate the myth: a mosaic (100 piece minimum) a video or skit of the myth (should demonstrate effort) a powerpoint presentation with six images of ancient, Renaissance, or modern art inspired by the myth ( must include info about artist and date created) 3. Present a handout with a summary of the myth in Latin. This summary will be 6-10 sentences long and will include the following grammatical concepts learned this year: 1 relative clause, 1 passive verb, 1 perfect passive participle, 1 comparative adjective or adverb,1 superlative adjective or adverb 4. Prepare 2 discussion questions for your myth. 4. Extra credit: Prepare an activity to help the class remember your myth.
