Use the first version (with lyrics) to introduce the song and instrument cards. Once the child is familiar with the cards, play the second version to hear the sound of each instrument. See if the child can guess the name of the instrument he or she hears before the card is shown. The Printable Activity: Print the pdf activity onto cardstock paper. Cut out each card and the card holder on the last page. Mountain fold all of the dotted lines. Glue the white tabs to the back of your holder (see photo). Now when your cards are in the folder, your child won’t see the instrument that goes with each letter until you take it out. Great for listening and guessing.
