Robert, who takes classes through Imagine!’s CORE/Labor
Source program, has been working on using voice recognition software so he can write his own blog posts, enabling him to share his unique perspective on life with his friends, family, and the community.
Participants in an Imagine! CORE/Labor Source KGNU music class have been using technology to create beautiful music. They are recording original songs and covers of well-known hits using instrumental sounds recorded as individual samples, which are manipulated by a MIDI file to form music tracks. Rae, one of the residents at the Bob and Judy Charles SmartHome in Boulder, is testing out a new prototype for an interactive journal. This interactive journal offers auditory prompts asking Rae a number of questions, such as “How are you feeling today?”,
“What did you do today?”, or “Who did you see today?” to give Rae an opportunity to practice some of her communication skills.

Colorado’s largest one-day online giving event is coming up and we invite your support. On Tuesday, December 9, 2014, tens of thousands of donors will come together to support
Colorado nonprofits like ours. Last year, a record-breaking
$20.9 million was distributed to Colorado nonprofits.
Imagine! benefited from the generosity of 91 donors who contributed a total of $17,425.
This year, Community First Foundation and FirstBank have increased the Incentive Fund by 300% to $1 million. By giving your support online (ColoradoGives.org/Imagine) on December 9, Imagine! will be eligible for a portion of this incentive fund. Help us raise $20,000 to support people with cognitive disabilities in Boulder and Broomfield counties.
If Imagine! is in your year-end giving plans, Colorado Gives Day is a great day to give. You can go through our website (imaginecolorado.org) or through ColoradoGives.org/Imagine. The only gifts that are ineligible are donations for which you receive something in return, such as tickets or sponsorships to our

Running the Imagine! Foundation will not be “just a job” for me. When our family relocated to Louisville from New Orleans eight years ago, we joined the Imagine! family and our daughter, Emily, has excelled beyond our expectations.
