London Global Finance Seminar: A six-week program based out of The London School of Economics, which
included a long weekend in Paris. This program introduced about 25 students to prominent European business
people, educators, writers, and academics. This program culminated with a research paper of each student’s choice
due after the emersion of the program.
Financial Markets and Institutions: Simulated banking competition based on net income. Received starting
balance sheet; determined staffing, marketing, deposit and loan interest rates, investment allocation and liquidity
management.
Operations and Information Management: Developed a business plan for a start-up restaurant over eight weeks
with a team of four. Components included financial analysis and projection, market research, and logistics
planning that included supply chain management and store/employee management.

Member
 Participate in various philanthropies namely March Madness a basketball tournament held for mentally
disabled students every year, and Miss Greek a philanthropy that involves the entire greek community at
CU as well as staff and faculty. Miss Greek is the largest grossing philanthropy in CU history with recent
revenues exceeding $90,000, which is donated to Clinica Foundation that provides health care to low
income families. We are Clinica’s largest private donor.
