ASSIGNMENT SHEET FOR IB BIOLOGY Perception, Regulation, Defense and Reproduction Name ________________________________ Period ________ Date _______________ Each student will complete the following assignments working either individually or as a part of a team. As each assignment is completed, a check should be placed in the blank and the assignment should be given to the teacher for grading,. When a paper has been scored, the student should record the points earned on the Point Sheet. Most assignments may be corrected in a different color of pen or pencil to gain more points. Write the word “corrected” in the upper right hand corner using a contrasting pen. Correction points will be given when the binder is scored - do NOT turn papers back until the binders are requested. Papers for all units of work are to be kept in a binder in an organized manner. Reading Responses: Students are to complete 3 reading responses per quarter. You may choose to respond to assigned chapters or approved articles. Each reading response will consist of Cornell Notes in which you identify at least 5 main ideas and describe them in your own words. Reading responses should meet the following criteria: at least 1 page in length, typed, single-spaced, 12 font, 1” margins, Times New Roman, no more than ¼ of width of page set aside for Cornell Note questions, at least 5 questions related to the main ideas and a 2-3 sentence summary at the end describing how the reading is related to class.
