Clause Document Number FLOW CHART / CONTROL PLAN Effective Date Revision No. 03/19/2013 A Responsible Organization QY10 Approved by Quality Tim Donkin If QY-10 is listed as part of the Purchase Order (PO), prior to First Article Inspection (FAI) or First Piece Inspection (FPI) a Process Flow Chart/Control Plan (FP/CP) is to be developed using L-3 CPS’s Work Sheet and Instructions. Suppliers may utilize their company standard form provided all areas required by L-3 CPS form are addressed. The request for FPI will not be processed without the Flow Chart/Control Plan completed in its entirety in accordance with instructions. The purpose of FC/CP is to provide a logical pictorial representation of the manufacturing process flow and process control points. The Supplier develops and maintains FC/CP. For any updates to the FC/CP prior approval by L-3 CPS is required. This document can be used as an aid for work station development, identifying process control points, defining the methods being used at these control points, and must include all Key Product Characteristics such as KPC/QARs/QAPs and all out sourcing identification. A walk through of the manufacturing process to include a review of the FC/CP and work instructions should be anticipated as a means to validate process requirements. The FC/CP will be used as part of the Process/Product Validation at FAI / FPI and on future L3-CPS audits.
