Course Objectives

In this course we will explore behavior and cognitive processes. In doing so, we will examine several diverse topics including brain physiology, child development, memory, psychoactive drugs, and mental health. At the end of this course, you will be able to identify various brain structures and their basic functions, and you will understand the core premises of the science of behavior. In addition, I hope to help you to improve your critical thinking skills and insights into human and non-human animal behavior, and help you to increase your confidence as consumers of information.
