1. Topic option 1: research on a city from China, Hong Kong or Taiwan
Information includes a map, location, population, famous site, weather, any useful tourist
information, or your own experiences. Site all sources.
2. Topic Option 2: research on Chinese custom, holidays or food.
Examples: Chinese tea drinking, Chinese New Year, or Dim Sum.
3. Make a Power Point with 3- 5 slides.
4. All information needs to be in Chinese Character, presentation in Chinese.
You can use an online translator to help you, however, students are encouraged to write
down their draft and have instructor check the writing and pronunciation of the words.
5. Upload your Power Point to create a Voicethread project by using your Voicethread account.
Record your oral presentation to your PPT. The length of your voice time: 2-3 minutes.
