Instructions to Finish Your Award Process
You will not be able to receive funds until the following steps are complete.
1. Log onto www.econnect.dcccd.edu
2. Click on “Current Credit Student Menu”
3. Log in: Enter you student ID number and your password
4. View “Financial Aid” info
5. Click on “FA Award Letter”
6. Agree to terms on each page; continue until your award is disclosed.
Apply for the DCCCD Moneycard
1. Log onto www.econnect.dcccd.edu/moneycard
2. Log in: Enter your student ID number and your password
3. Enter your challenge question answer (First time? Please create your challenge question.)
4. Choose the option that your address is correct (If incorrect, please see the Admissions Dept.)
5. Create your activation word.
*You will receive your card in the mail in 5-7 business days.
First time on eConnect? Your password will be your birthday: mm/dd/yy.
Trouble with Logging in? Click on Forgot/Reset My Password.
Not in the Registry? Click on Add me to the eConnect Registry.
Instructions to Choose Your Program of Study
You will not be able to receive funds until this step is complete.
1. Log onto www.econnect.dcccd.edu
2. Click on “Current Credit Student Menu”
3. Log in: Enter your student ID number and your password
4. View “Financial Aid” info
5. Click on “Select My FA Program”
*This is an unofficial degree plan. However, you do need to select the associate’s plan that best
meets your needs.
*The next step only applies to students with multiple degrees on file.
6. Click on “Change My FA Program”
Make sure to check the box to make it your primary degree.
