Marr-Mac Dance & Theatre Arts Summer Dance Gallery July 4-8, 2011 Ages 4-Pre-Professional Having trained and danced for over 20 years, Sarah is well sought after. Her training has taken her throughout the country and abroad. She has had the privilege of being part of numerous workshops and dance shows, and can be seen in the film “The Wickerman”. Starting in 2008, Sarah has had the honor of assisting Sean Cheesman on CTV's “So You Think You Can Dance Canada”, Fox America's “So You Think You Can Dance” and BBC's “So You Think You Can Dance UK”. In 2010, Sarah founded O2 The Dance Company, Calgary's own pre-professional contemporary company with her first work debuting in March 2011. Sarah is thrilled to be a part of this workshop, and is looking forward to sharing her passion and expertise with you! Sarah Dolan As an accomplished ballerina, choreographer and teacher Jelena has worked with the National Theatre of Croatia Ivan pl. Zajc, Pasadena Dance Theatre, San Diego Ballet, (Youth) Ballett Oetevrel Augsburg, and many independent projects and troupes. Her own teachers and coaches have included principals and legends from the Maryiinsky (including Marat Daukayev, Gennady Selyutski, Ninella Kurgapkina- (late) headmistress coach of Kirov Ballet, Kay Armstrong,Valeri Miklin). Her professional repertoire includes The Nutcracker, Coppelia, Giselle, Madame Butterfly, Sleeping Beauty Grand Pas, Markitenka, Chopiniana, La Fille Mal Gardée, Serenade, Cinderella, Seven Deadly Sins, and Paquita among others. Jelena Bagaric Jelena has taught internationally and coached -Mandic dancers and students including from the Vaganova Allie Morrison Choreographic Institute (St. Petersburg Russia), Australian Ballet, National Theatre Ivan pl. Zajc, Nashville Ballet. Jelena is currently teaching freelance in Vancouver. Allie Morrison was born in Calgary, lived in Thailand, and was raised in Edmonton. For the past few years she has created the props, set, and costumes for the five plays that Ross Sheppard High School has annually produced. Her favorite mediums are acrylic and pencil. In the summer of 2010, she worked as a leader at a summer camp for children with disabilities. She loves working with children and is excited to start making crafts. Marcus is a Music educator, performer and a local ambassador for the Inclusive, Expressive Arts. That means, the Joy of Expressing ourselves TOGETHER! He is sharing his gifts throughout the City, at Schools, Offices, Universities,Youth Centers, and Yoga Studios-sharing through the Power of Rhythm, simple songs dances and games from around the world. Woven in his activities, is his love of playfulness, the power of sharing, and the gift of kindness. Music and Movement as Good Life Practice!
