• Prerequisite courses must be COMPLETED BEFORE the application deadline
• Transferred prerequisite courses are discounted .3 for this calculation (e.g. A to A-)
• Repeated prerequisites are discounted one full letter grade (e.g. A to B)
• Overall GPA - Including transfer credit
• BYU GPA - Transfer students must complete one semester at BYU before applying
• Essay - Write a 500-word essay as part of your application
This is a limited enrollment program. Entry is competitive. Not every student meeting the
minimum criteria is guaranteed acceptance into the undergraduate program.
