The admissions committee considers the following ...
• Prerequisite GPA • Minimum 3.0 GPA in the prerequisite courses
• Prerequisite courses must be COMPLETED BEFORE the application deadline
• Transferred & repeated prerequisites are discounted .3 in the application (e.g., A to A-)
• Overall GPA - Including transfer credit
• BYU GPA - Transfer students must complete one semester at BYU before applying
• Essay - Write a 500-word essay as part of your application
• Resume - Upload a current, polished resume
This is a limited enrollment program. Entry is competitive. Not every student meeting
the minimum criteria is guaranteed acceptance into the undergraduate program.
