ASX TICKER CODES TO INCLUDE NUMERALS
ASX is extending the characters available for ASX ticker codes (ASX codes), which are used to refer to listed entities
admitted to the official list, to include numerals zero (0) to nine (9) inclusive.
Previously, numerals have been used in ASX codes to represent the unlisted underlying assets for warrants, exchangetraded option baskets, and the securities of Approved Listing Market Operators who utilise the services of ASX
Settlement.
ASX codes that have a numeral as the first character will be included in Equity Group 1 in TradeMatch, which opens at
10:00:00 +/- 15 seconds.
