Honors & GT Grading Policy
Includes GT, Pre-AP, & AP Courses
Honors Classes, as determined by the Nation Honor Society Sponsor
and the curriculum available at Arp High School, are given weighted
grades each six weeks using the following procedure:
 All grades will be averaged according to the district grading policy
(at least 10 daily grades, and additional quizzes, tests, labs, or project
grades, and the six weeks exam).
 Five points will be added to the overall daily average accumulated
for the six weeks.
 The daily average is 1/5th the total six weeks grade (with 1/5th quizzes, 1/5th – unit tests, 1/5th – labs or projects, and 1/5th six weeks
exam).
