Classical Myth Chapter 7, 8,9,10 Presentations
You will be divided into groups of 3-5 and assigned pages. Your group is
responsible for creating a presentation on those pages, including all answers to
the questions presented here and any further information the group finds on
their god/goddess or myth. You may do a skit of your myth.
Requirements
1. Teach lesson on topic answering all the questions on this sheet (A play could
serve to represent your myth as well.) All answers must be correct according
to Classical Myth, our textbook for this class. Remember the myths have
different versions, so you should supplement the book with other information
from other sources, but the questions MUST be answered from our book.
2. Use notecards- do NOT read your source, your worksheet, your powerpoint,
your poster, or from Classical Myth. You are teaching a lesson, so you should
be able to summarize the information in your own words and talk directly to
your classmates.
3. Hand out of information-all the answers to each question along with any
other information you find. (NO-your visual aid or measure of
understanding does NOT count as a handout!)
4. Measure understanding; quiz, crossword, w/s, question or test. Your group
is responsible for grading. Each measure of understanding will count as a
score for your classmates. This can not exceed 10 points!
5. Visual aid- poster, model, overhead, powerpoint, movie, skit.
6. Bibliography card with three sources-Classical Myth and Mythology (the
books in my classroom do NOT count). This must be in MLA format!
Points-You will be graded individually, but foremost, I am looking for quality!
