7. COMMITTEE MINUTES
a) To note the unapproved minutes of the Finance and Assets Committee meeting held on 12th
March 2015 (Appendix B) and the recommendations within as follows:
6. RESURFACING, BOLFORD STREET HALL CAR PARK
Due to the disclosed interest of four of the Committee, the meeting was inquorate for this item.
Councillors briefly discussed the matter and noted that although three contractors were asked to
quote for works only one quote had been received, from J.F. Knight (Roadworks) Ltd of £9,030 plus
VAT. It was agreed that the matter should be referred to the Council for a resolution.
RECOMMEND that J.F Knight is asked to carry out resurfacing works at Bolford Street Hall
at a cost of £9,030 plus VAT.
8. FINANCIAL REGULATIONS
The Committee considered the draft document which had been circulated with the agenda. The
Clerk advised that the new document closely followed the NALC Model.
RECOMMEND that the Council agrees the adoption of the newly drafted Financial
Regulations.
