We would like to update you on recent changes to the MBA/MMSc Alumni Association Board of
Directors.
Jeffrey Wong, (Treasurer) and Chrislyn Tziortzis (Director of Communications) have resigned
from the board effectively immediately. Since their resignation we have been working diligently
behind the scenes with Alumni Relations and the MBA/MMSc faculty to develop a solid plan for
the transition of these responsibilities.
We plan to hold an Annual General Meeting on Friday March 25, 2011 (followed by a social
event) as well as an election to fill the vacant positions (Treasurer, Director of Communications
and MMSc Liaison associate) as soon as is possible (subject to constitutional timelines). Dale
Carl has selected a current student to act as the interim treasurer until the election can be held.
We hope to provide you with an update soon. Please check back here again after February 4,
2011 and continue to check your inbox in the coming weeks for more detailed information.
As we look ahead to this year, we hope to have an active and engaged alumni body and are
working closely with our partners, Alumni Relations and the MBA/MMSc faculty, as well as our
membership, to ensure that we service the needs of our Alumni, while continuing to grow our
brand as leaders in the communities in which we work and live.

future.
