IEEE research citation Computer Science, Programming Technical Writing UNIVERSITY PROJECTS Created and implemented a graphical display map application in Borland Builder C++, to display serial-port data for a robot sensor. Fixed size packets of integers were analyzed, and a map of squares was drawn and updated to reflect the status (clear, obstructed, or unknown) of space, as seen from the robot. The map was redrawn in real-time while the robot was sending packets; otherwise it was kept static to preserve the view.
