Seeking a challenging position where I can exercise my skills in overseeing teams, planning, designing, developing and/or implementing solutions surrounding Unix/Linux and complex challenges in cross platform integration and software development. Specialties include intranet web portals, secure multiple source authentication, Windows to Linux/Unix seamless integration, secure remote desktop solutions and network inventory/asset management. Ideal job would involve the ability to create and code new solutions to solve “impossible” integration problems.

B I O G R A P H Y

My career path started in software development in 1985 with an emphasis on C++ object oriented development in 1988. I transitioned to doing software configuration management and release management for companies like Texas Instruments Inc., VISystems Inc., CARE Systems Inc., Sabre

Desicision Technologies and BEA Systems, Inc.. While working for BEA Systems, Inc. I managed 12 people doing quality assurance, release management and systems administration. When BEA closed their first development site down in Plano, TX, I remained in the area and retooled myself by teaching my own developed course curriculum at Collin County Community College. There I taught

Introduction to Unix Using Linux and Unix System Administration I and II. For the past 10 years I have been doing many tasks in support of a software development lab of 250 servers at Sterling

Commerce Inc. (which was acquired 1 year ago by IBM Inc.). Details follow...
