The main idea of the project is to compare different ChIP-Seq data sets from GEO and aligning their peaks for similarity search using various tools. Involves computer programming skills like python, R and is been carried out on LINUX platform. “Design of Microarray Probes for POTYVIRUSES” – Carried out at the Indian Institute of Horticultural Research (IIHR), Bangalore from Jan – April 2011. The project mainly dealt with data mining for the potential Potyvirus affected plants from NCBI. A data base for the same was tabulated to test for the virus using a Micro arrayer in the lab. ACHIEVEMENTS: Have participated in a hands-on training on “Protein Expression, Purification and Characterization” conducted by Merck Specialties Pvt. Ltd.
