WATER HORSE – Legend of the Deep (PG) will be shown on Friday 29 January 2016
Young Angus MacMorrow knows that his father may have been killed fighting for his country in WWII. Out one
day on the beach near his house, he finds a huge and mysterious egg - from which hatches a strange-looking beast
he names Crusoe. Angus and the sweet-natured and loveable Crusoe soon form a powerful bond. But eventually the
time is going to come when the Water Horse is going to have to leave for the open sea - so will it be able to leave
the loch safely? Having won comparisons to the children's classic film ET, this is an incredibly warm and likeable
movie, which never underestimates your intelligence, and is all the more enjoyable as a result.
The film is rated as PG – the IntoFilm website states that the film is suitable for children 7 years of age and over
as it contains “mild language and fantasy danger.”
It is obviously your choice to pick and choose the films that you would like your child to watch – there is NO
compulsion to attend every film!
PLEASE COLLECT YOUR CHILD AT 5PM
An extra snack and non-fizzy drink would be a good idea!

Reminder
It is an expectation that film club members complete a Film Review on the IntoFilm website
www.filmclub.org with the individual log in details that will be provided to each child on Friday. Some
pupils complete their reviews with me at school which I am more than happy to support. On our Film
Club web page, pupils can look at the film reviews, check when our next films are on and create a wish
list of the films they would like to watch.
