Only potential 2016 graduates will be able to order a gown in order to walk across the stage at the Commencement
Ceremony on Wednesday, June 29, 2016.
All of the following requirements must be met to be considered a potential grad:
You must have earned a minimum of 26 credits to date.
You must be scheduled to take the remaining courses needed to complete the 18 compulsory credits and
the 12 optional credits for a total of 30 credits by May 2, 2016.

You must have successfully completed the Provincial Secondary School Literacy Requirement or be
scheduled to take the literacy test or the literacy course.
We are very proud of the commencement we are able to provide for the Saltfleet community. To run such an event
takes countless hours and volunteers as well as some funds. As a result there is a fee attached of $40 which
covers the expenses of: graduation breakfast, gown purchase, cap and tassel, graduation program, tickets and
invitation, flowers for the ceremony, music for the ceremony, ceremony facility rental, post-ceremony reception and
postage. Should you be unable to pay the fee in full or part please contact Mrs. Susi in the student services
department or call (905)573-3000 extension 2014.
