CODE OF CONDUCT AGREEMENT
Class of 2015 Senior Activities and Graduation Ceremony

I agree to uphold and abide by the following expectations and guidelines:
A. I will have completed and met all graduation requirements of the Aurora Public Schools and Vista PEAK
Preparatory that allows me to take part in the graduation ceremony.
B. I will take care of all financial obligations prior to senior check-out. I understand I will not receive a graduation
cap and gown until all fines and fees are paid.
C. I will complete the process of senior check-out by obtaining all requested signatures
D. I will wear the authorized cap, gown, and tassel over appropriate clothing as stated below. I will not wear, carry
anything, or alter my appearance in any manner (including the graduation cap) that will detract from the dignity
of the ceremony. Only approved medals, cords & sashes of achievement will be worn by seniors per District
policy.
Appropriate Dress for Graduation
Females- Dresses that do not hang below gown or nice slacks, inconspicuous jewelry, no corsages on gown,
wrists or cap, appropriate dress shoes low heels or flats are recommended because of the flooring and walking
involved. No Flip lops or athletic/sport shoes.
Males- Dress shirt with collar (tie is optional but looks nicer under the gown), dark color slacks (no denim, no
jeans) dark dress shoes and dark socks. No athletic/sports shoes, flip flops or sandals.
E. I understand Board of Education policies and all school rules regarding student behavior apply before, during
and after the ceremony.
F. I will not engage in any behavior or action which is in any way detrimental to the dignity and decorum of the
occasion or to the safety of others. Items like beach balls, silly string, soap bubbles, fireworks, can air horns and
the like are not to be present before, during or after the ceremony.
G. I understand that if I fail to follow the above requirements or fail to abide by the above guidelines, I will be
immediately removed from the facility by a designated official. I further understand I will then need to make an
appointment with one of the Administrators the first Tuesday after the graduation ceremony to pick up my
diploma.
To the Graduating Senior: Please check one of the following statements and sign.
