Curriculum Vitae
Dr. Wanlin Li received his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science in 1982. He
subsequently received a scholarship to study at the Technical University of Karlsruhe,
Germany where he received a master's degree in 1986 and Ph.D. degree in 1991 in the
area of Information Technology.
In 1991, Dr. Li joined Siemens Germany and since then has been working in mobile
communication in various areas including development, system engineering and product
planning.
Dr. Li has been actively involved in the 3G mobile systems since 1996.
In July 1998 he was appointed as General Manager in charge of 3G mobile communication
in Siemens Limited China.
In Feb. 2001, he was appointed as Chief Technical Office of Information and
Communication Mobile of Siemens Limited China.
Since 1998 Dr. Li has been involved in the TD-SCDMA standardisation and product
development. Dr. Li is the vice chairman of the forum since two years.
