CALL TO ORDER

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm

We, as Undergraduate Members of women’s fraternities, stand for good scholarship, for guarding of good health, for maintenance of fine standards, and for serving, to the best of our ability, our college community. Cooperation for furthering fraternity life, in harmony with its best possibilities.

We, as Fraternity Women, stand for service through the development of character inspired by the close contact and deep friendship of individual fraternity and Panhellenic life. The opportunity for wide and wise human service, through mutual respect and helpfulness, is the tenet by which we strive to live.

Zach Wahls will be in Forum Hall at 8pm tomorrow night. The event is free. Zach is 23 years old and presented arguments for same-sex marriage at the Iowa

Congressional Hearing. He has also spoken at the Democratic National

Convention, Chelsea Lately, The Daily Show, and Ellen Degeneres Show

- Sarah asked for a motion to delay presenting the budget

- sarah asked for a motion to present the new judicial policy

Biggest changes

Judicial Policy

- Old policy established Panhellenic Council as board for Judicial Processes

- New policies establish that each chapter, both associate and regular members, will have two delegates (PHC delegate and an assistant delegate, If the assistant delegate is the President, another non-exec board member must be selected) 5 out of the 26 will be picked randomly to serve for hearing.

- delegates must be in good standing with individual chapter and have a 2.5 GPA

- Chapters will have separate hearings if more than one chapter is alleged in violation.

- National Headquarters, NPC Area Advisor, Chapter Advisor and Chapter

President of accused chapter will be notified.

Bylaw revisions

- changes name to chair of judicial board

- added VP will serve as advisory capacity for emerging leaders program (greek core)

- changed who will sit in on judicial board and struck old judicial committee

-Old and New Policies as well as Revised Bylaws can be found on the posted meeting minutes.

-Chapter votes will be taken March 25th

• Alpha Delta Pi - district leadership conference , new members, new member process can not finically accept and then drop, What information do we give them?

- there is a break down of average cost online and in a packet, chapters present during recruitment, and recruitment guides are available

• Kappa Kappa Gamma - junior Panhellenic Delegate having training for them

• Kappa Delta - presidents round table, bring in other positions other than presidents

• Gamma Rho Lambda - new philanthropy, helping homes to crisis center, boxes stop by chapter houses starting March 25th - April 8th, ex. toothpaste, toilet paper, diapers will be sending out an email

These Hands Don't Hurt, Domestic Violence Awareness (next week)

Alpha Delta Pi: new philanthropy Powercat Paint Run, on April 6. Race time will be at 10 am at Warner Park. Register is at the houses and will be picked up right before Spring

Alpha Xi Delta: had moms weekend, March 10th at 7 is the All Chapter Retreat, March

25th is our inspiration week

Chi Omega: Last weekend had national consultant, went well and have new ideas, new

Panhellenic delegate- Chelsey Ast

- Gave Panhellenic award back to Kappa Delta

Delta Delta Delta: American theme for block party and designing shirts, coming around next week for signups

Gamma Phi Beta: had their philanthropy Sundae Funday - success, function with Beta

Sigma Psi on Thursday

Gamma Rho Lambda: inducted three new members, start collection for Helping Homes

( Crisis Center) on March 25th

Kappa Alpha Theta: Big/Little Reveal on Thursday, next week is initiation

Kappa Delta: had their philanthropy Shamrock - success, Tuesday the 5th we are having a final PCAA and MHK Crisis Center fundraiser at Cox brothers 5-8 (10% all proceeds)

Kappa Kappa Gamma: had their philanthropy Sundae Funday - success, raised over

$1,700.

Pi Beta Phi: had their philanthropy Pi Phi Bowties - success

Sigma Kappa: new philanthropy April 19th - Glow Run, leadership consultant in town

Zeta Tau Alpha: ritual appreciation week, mom’s weekend was a success
