No business ANNOUNCEMENTS Chapter News Alpha Chi Omega - We had our National President come the day before recruitment. We were awarded 3 awards including the website award, progress award, and intellectual development award. - We did an engagement dinner with our homecoming partners and we all got to know each other, which was awesome! Alpha Delta Pi - Starting homecoming stuff. - Sisterhood event with Kappa Delta this week- we are going to watch a movie and have some food. - Planning a dinner with our homecoming partners and our new members. Alpha Phi - Sisterhood retreat was last week- we went to St. Louis and went to the museum and 6 Flags. Chi Omega - We are planning and engagement dinner with Farmhouse. - Nationals visit is coming for a bystander workshop. - Getting ready for our philanthropy. Tri Delta - Field consultant came, which was really helpful. - Planning our Dad’s Weekend, which is coming up in October. - We had our New Member retreat. - Philanthropy got rained out, so we are rescheduling. Delta Gamma - National’s came to visit- really helpful! - We are getting ready for our philanthropy. - DG Lectureship is coming up next week. Gamma Phi Beta - Dad’s Weekend was last weekend. We went mini-golfing and go carting, which was super fun! Kappa Alpha Theta - All member retreat was last weekend. - Philanthropy went well- 2 weekend event. Kappa Delta - Cypote Hill celebrated their 20th anniversary, so we had an event with them. - International Women’s Friendship month- the ice cream social went well, we had best friends weekend last weekend. Dinner exchange with Kappa Kappa Gamma next week. Kappa Kappa Gamma - Dad’s weekend last week was last weekend- 2 weekend event also - Started homecoming activities - Started our points system- thanks for all the help putting that together! Phi Mu - Meals for Miracles is Friday the 23rd Pi Beta Phi - New member retreat was last week. - Dad’s weekend was last weekend. It went really well, we had a BBQ and went to Déjà Vu. - Fashion show the last Friday in September, Runway Looks and Reading Books. Different Columbia Businesses will be showing off their fall clothing styles. Tickets are $10 and there will be a raffle and raffle tickets cost $1. Tri Sigma - Yesterday was our new member retreat. We had a lot of discussion time to set goals and come up with a pledge class constitution. - Consultant came in this week. - We redid our website. Zeta Tau Alpha - Sunday was Race for the Cure- it went awesome! - Our fall philanthropy is October 23rd Next Meeting Monday, September 26, 2011 ADJOURNMENT [5:00pm]
