TEST:
Monday: Reading Vocabulary Test
Tuesday: Reading Unit 2 Test, Science Test Ch. 6
Wednesday: Reading Unit 2 Test
Thursday: Spelling U 11
Friday:
Spelling: Students should complete pages 76 and 77 in spelling to be
graded Monday. Unit 11 covers the r controlled vowels.
Math: Unit 4 Multiplication, we will begin multiplying with 2 and 3 digit
numbers. Example 678 x 42 or 396 x 451
Social Studies: Unit 3 Southeast. Study the 12 states and capitals for
quizzes. Students have study guides.
Phonics: Unit 3
Religion: Father Thess will be training the students to serve Tuesday
through Friday. He gave an over view last week. He will be taking six
students at a time and each student will walk through the actions of the
server.
English: We will begin the Unit 3 Pronouns.
Reading: Unit 2 vocabulary and reading test
Science: We have finished the chapter 3 Matter, students have study guides,
the test will be on Tuesday, October 29th.
HOMEWORK: Start on November requirements: 300 pages, oral biography report, and a
comprehension quiz (computer test). The students have all chosen their biography for the oral
report.
In November students will be required to read a biography. Instead of a written
report they will be giving an oral report to the class. They are to write down key
information they want to share on an index card. This card should only be used as
an aid in remembering what they want to share. It should not be a written report.
Our class room mother, Heather Huck will be preparing a treat bag for each
student to celebrate Halloween. If you have an item that you would like to add to
this bag please send in 22 by next Tuesday. Thank you.
