Last Week’s Highlights Monday Ms. Melinda also came and talked to us about pumpkins! We learned about the pumpkin cycle and made a charm necklace that was filled with reminders of each stage of the cycle. Tuesday Our theme this past week was How Animals Grow. Our story was Farfallina and Marcel a story about a caterpillar/ butterfly and a gray bird/goose and how they changed as they grew. Wednesday Thursday Some reading skills we worked on included similes and making inferences (using what we know to figure something out.) In Math we continued with Topic 4 – Place Value: We compared numbers, and used the greater than > /< less than, and equal = symbols. We put numbers before, after, and between and ordered numbers from least to greatest and greatest to least.
