The site also provides plenty of information on sculpture. Especially great is their NGA Kids section. In it are great kid’s guides to Egyptian Art, Mayan Art & the art of Romare Bearden (2nd grade Pa. artists, 5th grade American artists) There is a great interactive called collage. This is a wonderful follow up for Bearden. Also you’ll find great stuff on Saint George and the Dragon (5th –Medieval Art), Wassily Kandinsky 2nd European art), and Frank Stella (5th –Modern Art or famous American Artists, 3rd grade elements and principles study, 1st grade American artists).
