COURSE OBJECTIVES
The course objectives are simple: The main objective is to have students get used to
the French language (sounds and spelling). It is important that the students learn to
say, write and read basic French. The lab will be used to do exercises on the web and
to work on their cultural project.
ATTENDANCE
Regular attendance in class is essential to learning a foreign language.
Students are allowed ONLY THREE ABSENCES. Students are expected to
come to every class and to be on time. If you have more than 3 absences,
your grade will be lowered. Three tardies equal 1 absence.
NO CELLULAR PHONES ARE ALLOWED IN THE CLASSROOM. Failure to
turn off cellular phone will count as an absence for that day.
NO FOOD, CHEWING GUM, or DRINK is allowed in the classroom except
for water.
